Exotic pets require just as much,if not more, preventive and routine care as dogs or cats. Most health problems arise as a result of improper husbandry, food, housing, sanitation, temperature, humidity, and lighting. Routine examinations are critical in detecting and treating disease as early as possible.

With a special interest in exotic and small animal care, our staff veterinarians provide routine veterinary care including wellness exams, full diagnostic, and surgical services for the following exotic pets:

Chinchillas
Guinea Pigs
Rats and Mice
Hamsters and Gerbils
Lizards and Turtles
Snakes
Birds (Songbirds, Budgies, Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Macaws, etc.)
Rabbits

We also provide boarding for any type of exotic pet.

Our Veterinarians
While most of our veterinarians can assist you and your exotic pet with veterinary care, several of our veterinarians have a special interest in treating exotic pets. We are open 7-days a week with late night and evening hours, so if your exotic pet is in need of urgent veterinary care, there will always be a doctor on staff who can handle the unique needs of exotic pets in the event of an emergency.

Shann Ikezawa, DVM
