We are proud to announce a new addition to our BRVC family - Dr. Adam Scott has joined our team of highly skilled veterinarians!
When asked about his motivation for becoming a veterinarian: "I grew up surrounded by animals, both in my own family and my neighborhood. I developed a strong bond and connection with both my pets and those around my home, and as a result, it was always my dream to be able to work with animals. I was driven to become a veterinarian for a combined love for animals and their impact on my life and those around me as well as a strong fascination with the field of medicine, which is forever evolving and challenging me."
Dr. Scott is a graduate of the Veterinary School at the University of California, Davis. Prior to veterinary school he completed his undergrad at the University of Texas where he received his degree in mechanical engineering. Adam completed a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles and was a coordinator for Fix Our Ferals, a non-profit organization that aims to reduce the number of feral cats in the community by spaying or neutering feral cats and then releasing them back to their environment.
Adam lives with his wife, Dr. Erin Scott, (our other new doctor at BRVC!), and their two spunky cats Pi and Kylar. In his spare time he enjoys cycling (both road and mountain), as well as hiking, running, traveling, or just relaxing with a good book.
When asked about what he looks forward to about working at BRVC: "I look forward to practicing high quality medicine surrounded by caring, compassionate, and driven people all with the goal of helping pets and pet owners in a great community."
Welcome to BRVC Dr Scott!
