Chen-Chen Tsai: Team Member Highlight!

Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center is thrilled to feature Chen-Chen Tsai in our Team Member Highlight.

Chen-Chen is a Technician Assistant and has been with Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center for over 2 years. Technician Assistants support the flow of the hospital and help with efficiency by assisting the Technicians and Doctors with various tasks. They also set up and break down complex surgeries and help maintain cleanliness and order in the Treatment Room. Chen-Chen is one of our very best Technician Assistants and a model employee. She is a bit of a perfectionist and so well organized; she raises the bar for everyone in Treatment thanks to the high quality of work she always provides to the team. She is a diligent, hard worker who maintains a great attitude even on our busiest days- and our days can get intense! She is genuinely kind in all her interactions with staff and pets and is a calm presence in treatment.

Chen-Chen came to BRVC originally as a client for her family pets. Once she went to Veterinary Technician school she decided interning at BRVC was a step in the right direction. "BRVC was my vet clinic of choice to bring my pets... So while I was in the vet tech program, I decided this was a vet clinic for me to inquire on being an intern at the clinic. Through my internship, it was apparent that I was always learning new things and growing as I acquired new skills. So of course upon my graduation from the vet tech program, I decided to apply for a position at the clinic." We are so glad she chose us and quickly became a vital part of the team. We've seldom met anyone so dedicate to her work. When asked why she enjoys working at BRVC, she says she enjoys the various types of patients that come in daily. She feels this allows the Technicians to have a wealth of learning opportunities to sharpen their skills. "The best parts of my job are seeing a dog or cat feeling better from their treatment such as an ear cleaning, anal gland expression, or even administering subcutaneous fluids. And at the end of this treatment, I get to see an owner's relief and appreciation that their pets have been well taken care of here at BRVC."

Chen-Chen and was born in New York but grew up in Fremont. On her days off Chen-Chen enjoys spending time with her husband. They enjoy traveling to new places together, going on hikes, playing tennis and hanging out with family and friends. She currently does not have any pets but wants to add a miniature American Eskimo to their family.
