Congratulations to Cheri and Jaimie: Our February Employees of the Month

  At Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center and Urgent Care, we take great pride in the exceptional people who make up our team. Each month, we celebrate the dedication and hard work of individuals who truly go above and beyond. This February, we are excited to honor two outstanding employees: Cheri, one of our Client Service Representative, and Jaimie, one of our skilled Urgent Care Veterinary Assistants.. Both of these incredible team members have made a lasting impact on our clients, patients, and team—and we are thrilled to celebrate them!
 

  Cheri has been with Bishop Ranch for an impressive 19 and a half years!  Over the years, she has become an essential part of our family. As a Client Service Representative, Cheri’s dedication and positive attitude shine through in everything she does. She’s the first person many of our clients and patients see when they walk through our doors, and her welcoming nature and wealth of knowledge create a comforting environment from the moment they arrive.
 

  Cheri’s day is filled with a wide range of responsibilities, from greeting clients and patients to helping keep the flow of appointments running smoothly. She handles importing medical records and updating patient files, submitting prescription requests, and answering all sorts of client questions-all while making sure everything is executed with care and efficiency. Whether in the Client Service department or jumping in to lend a hand in our Boarding department, Cheri is always ready to help wherever needed.
 

  When asked what she looks forward to most each day, Cheri shared, “All of the social interaction with staff and clients, and giving comfort to those in need. Also, problem solving!” Cheri’s warmth and her desire to make people feel heard and supported are evident in every interaction she has, and it’s what makes her such a cherished member of our team.
 

  Jaimie joined the Bishop Ranch team in August 2019 and has quickly earned a reputation for being a skilled, quick-thinking, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant. While her technical expertise is second to none, it’s Jaimie’s calming presence that truly sets her apart. She has a special way of soothing even the most nervous patients, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable throughout their visit.
 

  Jaimie works primarily alongside our Urgent Care veterinarians, jumping in to triage patients and assist with a variety of treatments and diagnostics. She also plays an important role in our Patient Care department, where she ensures that those who need continued care after their appointment, whether scheduled or Urgent Care, are closely monitored and receive the treatment they need.
 

  Her daily tasks range from triaging patients,  placing catheters, drawing lab samples, monitoring anesthesia for surgeries, and communicating with clients. No matter how busy or urgent the situation, Jaimie handles it all with a sense of calm and professionalism.
 

  When asked what she looks forward to most about coming into work, Jaimie said, “Working with our doctors and the technician team!” It’s clear that Jaimie values her collaboration with her team, and her teamwork contributes to the exceptional care we provide to our patients.
 

  We are incredibly proud of Cheri and Jaimie for being named our February 2025 Employees of the Month. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for what they do make them stand out as exceptional members of our team. Whether it’s Cheri’s dedication to client care or Jaimie’s calm and skilled handling of our urgent cases, both team members embody the values of Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center and Urgent Care every day.
