Honoring Compassion and Care: Dr. Shastri & Marissa Are Our March Employees of the Month

  At Bishop Ranch Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to announce our March Employees of the Month: Dr. Shastri and Marissa! Both of these outstanding team members were nominated by their peers in recognition of their exceptional care, empathy, compassion, and unwavering dedication to both our patients and clients.

  Dr. Shastri has been a valued member of our veterinary team for the past three and a half years. She is a versatile and compassionate veterinarian who can be seen daily providing a variety of services, from routine wellness appointments to both dental and medical procedures. Whether it's a simple checkup or a critical, urgent care case, Dr. Shastri approaches every situation with skill and confidence.

  As an Urgent Care veterinarian, she is always ready to step in and manage even the most challenging and critical cases. But it’s not just her medical expertise that makes Dr. Shastri stand out—it’s also her dedication to client communication. Dr. Shastri excels in advocating for her patients while ensuring that clients understand all the options available to make the best decisions for their furry family members.

  When asked what she looks forward to each day, Dr. Shastri shared, “I like the variety that each day brings. You never know exactly what to expect when you walk into work each day!”

  Marissa has been with Bishop Ranch for almost one and a half years, and in that time, she has become an integral part of our team, offering her help wherever it's needed. Whether she’s welcoming clients with a friendly smile at the front desk, assisting with outpatient appointments, or caring for our boarding pets, Marissa’s willingness to jump in and her positive, caring nature always shine through. She is especially dedicated to the care of our Boarding pets, where her keen eye and understanding of their needs have helped save lives on multiple occasions.

  Whether she’s feeding, medicating, or providing care for our boarding patients, Marissa goes above and beyond to ensure they are well taken care of. Her proactive approach and excellent training allow her to spot when something is wrong and quickly seek medical assistance, helping to prevent serious health issues.

  Marissa’s positivity and warm heart make every day brighter for her team. When asked what she loves most about her work, she said, 'All the smiles on my coworkers' faces!”
