Hi there! I'm Colt, the coolest boy in the neighborhood!

Is that a show-dog? A model? An all-star athlete? All of the above? YES! I’m an energetic, handsome black and white, Siberian Husky/Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is about 1 year old and weighs 50 lbs. When you meet me, you’ll notice my contagious smile, soulful brown-amber eyes, and my soft, shiny coat. Word on the street is that I’m as cool as they come.

On a typical day, you’ll find me conquering the agility equipment in the yard, doing figure eights in the air (it’s my happy dance), and enjoying nature on my walks! When I get excited, I can’t help but show it, especially when I get a break from my kennel and get to enjoy the company of a volunteer pal. I can tend to get a bit jumpy but I respond quickly to “off” and will “sit” nicely with a yummy treat. I am treat-motivated and LOVE getting pets and back scratches too! I walk well on a leash and love to explore the world around me. And I’ve got both brains and good looks! I know “sit,” go “down,” and “drop.” Not bad for a young pup, right? I’m paw-sitive I can continue to learn so much more in my new fur-ever home.

Besides learning commands, I love to play fetch with stuffed animals, the squeaker the better. The cherry on top of a paw-fect day is being able to run along the fence with some of my doggo friends. I think they’re pretty impressed by my ball-chasing and jumping skills! As for meeting any doggos in my future home, my staff friends will need to properly introduce us to see if we are comfortable with one another.
