" Hello! I’m Roxana, Your Sweet & Silly Goofball! I'm a super sweet, energetic, affectionate and fun-loving German Shepherd mix. I’m about 2 years old and weigh in at 47 pounds of playfulness! My friends call me Roxy—and you can too! When we meet, you can’t help but notice how paw-fectly cute and aww-dorably goofy I am! With my boop-worthy face, irresistible pointed bat ears, and a tail that seems to be happily dancing to its own tune, you’ll be smitten!
I never fail to entertain my volunteer pals with my cute and playful antics in the yard—whether I’m zooming around being silly, going on sniffaris under the sun, tossing tennis balls with my mouth and chasing after them with glee, or cuddling up with them to show my affection, there's never a dull moment with me around! But my real talent? Giving my volunteers the Roxy-special soulful stare so they toss a treat in the air, which I promptly catch mid-air like a pro.
I’m quite the smarty-paws too! I know how to “Sit” and go “Down” and I’m now working hard on “Stay” (impressive, huh? ). I walk nicely on the leash, though I’m still perfecting my skills when something exciting catches my attention. But don’t you worry—I’m learning to "Come Back," so I can be right by your side, sitting pretty and waiting for a treat. I’d love to keep practicing what I know and learn new tricks when I come home with you!
I can be picky when it comes to making doggo friends, but I seem to get along best with the boys—especially when we’re running the fence line. When meeting new doggos, a calm and slow introduction helps me stay focused, and a tasty treat will keep my attention on you before I say “Hi”. Oh, and did I mention I’m a HUGE foodie? Learning with treats will definitely be fun for both of us! Bone-apetite! I’m a bit unsure around small kiddos, so I’d be happiest in an adult-only home.
If you're looking for an active, affectionate and playful pup, I’m your girl! Let’s shake paws so I can get my wiggly butt home! And oh, if you have another fur-baby, bring them along for a supervised meet-and-greet, please!"
