National Veterinary Technician Week October 15th-21st, 2023

Our amazing team of veterinary technicians works tirelessly to provide quality care to our patients day after day and is an integral part of our hospital and mission. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a highly skilled, compassionate, and committed technician team!

As you may have guessed, National Veterinary Technician Week is an annual celebration dedicated to vet techs. It was launched in 1993 by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians (NAVTA), a U.S.-based not-for-profit organization committed to advancing the profession of veterinary nursing through advocacy, awareness, and professional development.

National Veterinary Technician Week takes place the third week of October and has a different theme every year. This year, the theme is ‘Pearls of Wisdom.’

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians, the traditional gift of pearls is how technicians are being celebrated this month! In light of technicians' extraordinary experiences, who better share their favorite tips and tricks about our furry family members?
