We are thrilled to announce another veterinarian joining our exceptional team of veterinarians: Dr. Erin Scott!
Dr. Scott is a graduate of the Veterinary School at the University of California, Davis. Prior to veterinary school she completed her undergrad at UC San Diego, earning her degree in engineering. Erin spent time as a mentor for "Pre-vet Students Supporting Diversity" and as a Veterinary student outreach volunteer, and was actively involved with the Sacramento Valley Veterinary Association Charitable Foundation. Shortly after graduation from veterinary school she completed a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles.
On her motivation for becoming a veterinarian: "Medicine is my calling. I made the leap to explore this career option again while completing my engineering studies. From the first moments volunteering with animals I knew I was on the right path. What motivates me is the trust in our profession and a personal commitment to being the best veterinarian I can be. The reward of improving animals' quality of life is what I love most about being a veterinarian."
Erin lives with her husband, Dr. Adam Scott (our other new doctor at BRVC!) and their two rescue cats Pi and Kylar. She grew up in El Centro, CA and in her spare time enjoys being outdoors - hiking, enjoying a picnic, or running- as well as completing jigsaw puzzles, reading, and listening to music.
"I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Bishop Ranch community by serving the pets and the families that love them".
Welcome to BRVC Dr Scott!
